Description

Indulge in the perfect Apple Crumble Bread, a delightful and easy-to-make treat that’s ready in just 30 minutes. This quick bread is packed with tender apple chunks and a sweet cinnamon-sugar crumble topping, making it an irresistible homemade delight.

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 3/4 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 2 cups peeled and diced apples (about 2 medium apples)

– For the Crumble Topping:

– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cubed

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set it aside.

2. – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

3. – In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

4. – Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Gently fold in the diced apples.

5. – To make the crumble topping, combine the flour, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Use your fingers or a fork to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

6. – Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the top.

7. – Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

– For a slightly sweeter bread, you can increase the granulated sugar to 1 cup.

– Try using a mix of different apple varieties for a more complex flavor.

– Store the cooled bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
