This easy Apple Dump Cake is the ultimate comfort dessert! Tender apples are baked with a buttery, crumbly topping for a delightfully simple and delicious treat.
Ingredients
– 4 cups peeled and sliced apples
– 1 cup white sugar
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. 2. Arrange the sliced apples in the prepared baking dish.
3. 3. In a medium bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, and spices. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the apples.
4. 4. Pour the melted butter over the top of the flour mixture.
5. 5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.

Notes
For a crisper topping, use cold, cubed butter instead of melted. You can also add a cup of chopped pecans or walnuts to the topping mixture.
