Description

Indulge in the irresistible flavors of this creamy, cinnamon-spiced apple pie dip, served with crisp, sweet tortilla chips. This quick and easy appetizer is perfect for cozy gatherings and festive parties.

Ingredients

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tsp ground cinnamon

– 2 cups peeled, diced apples

– 1 tbsp lemon juice

– 12 small flour tortillas

– 1/4 cup vegetable oil

– 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

– 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

1. – In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.

2. – Add in the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon, mixing until well combined.

3. – Fold in the diced apples and lemon juice until evenly distributed.

4. – Refrigerate the apple pie dip for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

5. – Meanwhile, cut the tortillas into triangles or wedges.

6. – In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

7. – Fry the tortilla triangles in batches for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown.

8. – Transfer the fried chips to a paper towel-lined plate and immediately toss with the 2 tbsp cinnamon and 2 tbsp sugar.

9. – Serve the chilled apple pie dip with the warm, cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips.

Notes

– For a thicker dip, use 12 oz of cream cheese.

– Try using a mix of apple varieties for more flavor complexity.

– Let the chips cool completely before serving for maximum crispness.
