Ingredients
– 16 oz (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tsp ground cinnamon
– 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
– 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
3. Add the chopped cranberries, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir until well combined.
4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or oven-safe serving dish.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the edges are lightly browned.
6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
7. Serve the Baked Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip warm with crackers, crostini, or your favorite dippers.
Notes
For a creamier dip, you can use 8 oz of cream cheese and 8 oz of mascarpone cheese. You can also add a splash of orange juice or Grand Marnier for an extra flavor boost. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
