Ingredients
– 4 large yellow onions, sliced
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
– 1/2 cup grated asiago cheese
– 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
– 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. – In a large baking dish, arrange the sliced onions in an even layer.
3. – Drizzle the melted butter over the onions and toss to coat.
4. – Sprinkle the grated asiago cheese, panko breadcrumbs, thyme leaves, salt, and pepper over the top.
5. – Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the onions are caramelized and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes
