Description

Indulge in the delightful combination of baked pears, creamy goat cheese, sweet honey, and tart cranberries in this easy and elegant seasonal dessert.


Ingredients

– 4 firm Bartlett pears, halved and cored

– 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled

– 1/4 cup honey, plus more for drizzling

– 1/2 cup fresh or dried cranberries


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. – Place the pear halves, cut-side up, in a baking dish.

3. – Divide the goat cheese evenly among the pear halves, pressing it gently into the cavities.

4. – Drizzle the honey over the top of the pears and goat cheese.

5. – Sprinkle the cranberries over the top.

6. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pears are tender and the cheese is slightly melted.

7. – Remove from oven and drizzle with additional honey, if desired.

8. – Serve warm.

Notes

For a crunchy topping, add chopped nuts or a sprinkling of granola before baking. The baked pears can also be served chilled.
