Description

Indulge in the ultimate fusion of moist banana bread and rich, fudgy brownies with this heavenly Banana Bread Brownies recipe. Perfectly sweet, with a soft, tender crumb and a decadent chocolate flavor, these treats are sure to satisfy any dessert craving.

Ingredients

– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2-3 medium bananas)

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.

4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until no dry pockets remain. Fold in the chocolate chips.

5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.

6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake.

7. Allow the Banana Bread Brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, top the Banana Bread Brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce. You can also add chopped walnuts or pecans to the batter for a nice crunch.
