Description

Brach’s Maple Nut Goodies are a delightful homemade treat that combine the rich, buttery flavors of Brach’s classic maple nut candies with the convenience of an easy-to-make cookie or bar. These irresistible bites are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1 egg

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1 (8 oz) package Brach’s Maple Nut Goodies, chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

6. Fold in the chopped Brach’s Maple Nut Goodies.

7. Scoop the dough by the tablespoonful onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.

9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a chewier texture, bake the cookies for the lower end of the time range. For a crispier cookie, bake for the higher end of the time range. These goodies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
