Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 onion, thinly sliced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup mayonnaise
– 2 tbsp lemon juice
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 4 cups cooked white rice
– 2 cups shredded lettuce
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
2. In the same skillet, cook the sliced onions over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until deeply caramelized.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the caramelized onion aioli.
4. To assemble the Burger Bowls, place a scoop of cooked white rice in the bottom of a bowl. Top with the cooked burger patty, shredded lettuce, and a generous drizzle of the caramelized onion aioli.
