Description

Indulge in the rich, caramelized flavors of this tender, slow-cooked pulled beef brisket. Perfect for family dinners, BBQs, and easy meal prep.

Ingredients

– 5 lb beef brisket

– 2 tbsp brown sugar

– 2 tsp smoked paprika

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp onion powder

– 1 tsp salt

– 1/2 tsp black pepper

– 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 300°F.

2. – In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. – Rub the seasoning mixture all over the brisket, covering it evenly.

4. – Place the brisket in a large, oven-safe pot or Dutch oven. Pour the beef broth around the edges.

5. – Cover the pot and bake for 4-5 hours, or until the brisket is very tender and shreds easily with a fork.

6. – Remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes.

7. – Using two forks, shred the brisket into bite-sized pieces.

8. – Serve the caramelized pulled beef brisket warm, with your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra caramelization, broil the shredded brisket for 2-3 minutes before serving. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
