Description

Indulge in the ultimate Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu – a decadent, coffee-infused dessert with a boozy twist. Layers of soft ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone, and sweet cherries come together in this restaurant-quality treat that’s easy to make at home.

Ingredients

– 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled

– 1/4 cup Amaretto liqueur

– 24 ladyfingers

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 4 large egg yolks

– 1 pound mascarpone cheese

– 1 cup pitted fresh cherries, halved

– 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

1. – In a shallow bowl, combine the cooled coffee and Amaretto. Quickly dip the ladyfingers into the coffee mixture, coating both sides.

2. – In a medium bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar together until light and creamy.

3. – In a separate bowl, fold the mascarpone into the egg yolk mixture until fully incorporated.

4. – In a 9×13 inch baking dish, arrange a layer of the coffee-soaked ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then top with half of the cherries.

5. – Repeat the layers, ending with the mascarpone mixture. Dust the top evenly with the cocoa powder.

6. – Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or up to 24 hours, before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a strong, dark roast coffee. You can also substitute frozen cherries if fresh are not available. Leftovers will keep in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
