Description

Indulge in these rich and delectable Chocolate Covered Strawberry ‘Birds’ – a quick and easy no-bake treat that’s perfect for parties, desserts, or anytime you need a sweet bite.

Ingredients

– 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried

– 12 ounces high-quality semisweet chocolate, chopped

– 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

– Sprinkles, shredded coconut, or other decorations (optional)

Instructions

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil (if using) in a double boiler or microwave, stirring frequently until smooth.

3. One at a time, hold a strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, turning to coat completely.

4. Gently tap off any excess chocolate and place the coated strawberry on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Repeat with the remaining strawberries.

6. If desired, sprinkle the chocolate-covered strawberries with decorations like sprinkles or shredded coconut.

7. Refrigerate the tray for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set completely.

8. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For a smoother chocolate coating, add the coconut oil to the melted chocolate. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
