Ingredients

– 10 sheets filo dough, thawed

– 4 ounces brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes

– 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Lay one sheet of filo dough on a clean work surface and brush it lightly with melted butter. Top with another sheet of filo and brush with more butter.

3. Cut the layered filo sheets into 4-inch squares. Place a cube of brie and a few cranberries in the center of each square.

4. Fold the corners of the filo over the filling to create a triangle shape, pressing gently to seal.

5. Arrange the filo-wrapped crackers on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

6. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top of the crackers.

7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the filo is golden brown and crispy.

8. Serve the Christmas Cranberry and Brie Filo Crackers warm, and enjoy their delightful combination of flavors and textures.

Notes

– For best results, work with one sheet of filo dough at a time, keeping the rest covered to prevent drying.

– Adjust the amount of cranberries and brie to your personal taste.

– These crackers can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven before serving.
