Ingredients

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

– 8 oz brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes

– 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

– 2 tbsp brown sugar

– 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 12 equal squares.

3. Place a cube of brie in the center of each pastry square.

4. In a small bowl, mix together the cranberries, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

5. Top each brie cube with a spoonful of the cranberry mixture.

6. Fold the corners of the pastry squares up and over the filling, pinching them together to create a flower shape.

7. Place the flowers on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the brie is melted.

9. Serve the Christmas Cranberry & Brie Flowers warm, garnished with fresh thyme or rosemary if desired.

Notes

For a variation, you can use different types of cheese, such as goat cheese or cream cheese. The flowers can also be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
