Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/2 cup milk

– Red and green sprinkles for topping


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.

2. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. 3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

4. 4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.

5. 5. Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, mixing just until incorporated.

6. 6. Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.

7. 7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
