Description

Elevate your holiday appetizer game with these mouthwatering Christmas Deviled Eggs! Filled with a rich, creamy yolk mixture and garnished with a sprinkle of paprika and fresh herbs, these deviled eggs are the perfect festive treat for your holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

– 12 large eggs

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 1 teaspoon white vinegar

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

– Paprika, for garnish

– Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil over high heat.

2. 2. Once the water reaches a boil, remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 12 minutes.

3. 3. Drain the hot water and cover the eggs with cold water. Let sit until cool enough to handle, about 15 minutes.

4. 4. Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.

5. 5. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a medium bowl. Set the egg whites aside.

6. 6. In the bowl with the yolks, add the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mash and stir until well combined and creamy.

7. 7. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

8. 8. Sprinkle the deviled eggs with paprika and garnish with fresh parsley or chives.

9. 9. Chill the stuffed eggs in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

For best results, make the deviled eggs up to 1 day in advance and refrigerate until ready to serve. The flavors will meld together for an even more delicious treat. Feel free to experiment with different garnishes, such as crumbled bacon or chopped chives, to make these deviled eggs your own.
