Ingredients
– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
– 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
– 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 12 oz white chocolate, melted
– 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
1. – In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until light and fluffy.
2. – Gradually add the confectioners’ sugar, peppermint extract, and salt, mixing until well combined.
3. – Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
4. – Refrigerate the balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
5. – Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring frequently until smooth.
6. – Dip each chilled peppermint ball into the melted white chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
7. – Immediately sprinkle the coated patties with the crushed candy canes.
8. – Return the patties to the refrigerator and chill for an additional 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
9. – Serve chilled and enjoy!
