Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. – In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and granulated sugar. Beat until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

3. – Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

4. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and ground cinnamon.

5. – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.

6. – Scoop the dough by the tablespoonful and roll into balls. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

7. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden around the edges.

8. – Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a more pronounced cinnamon flavor, you can increase the amount of ground cinnamon to 3 teaspoons. These cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
