Ingredients
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1 large onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 4 cups broccoli florets
– 4 cups chicken or vegetable stock
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. 1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. 2. Add the diced onion and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened and translucent.
