Description

Indulge in the rich, creamy, and flavor-packed Creamy Garlic-Paprika Shrimp Skillet, ready in just 10 minutes! This easy, no-fail recipe features succulent shrimp simmered in a dreamy garlic-infused cream sauce with a hint of smoky paprika.

Ingredients

– 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 4 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tsp smoked paprika

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

– Juice of 1 lemon

– 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. – Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until just opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

3. – In the same skillet, sauté the garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. – Stir in the smoked paprika and heavy cream. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly thickened.

5. – Reduce the heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and incorporated.

6. – Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.

7. – Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley.

8. – Season with salt and pepper to taste.

9. – Serve the Creamy Garlic-Paprika Shrimp Skillet immediately, over a bed of rice or with crusty bread for dipping.

Notes

– For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.

– Substitute half-and-half or milk for a lighter cream sauce.

– Garnish with additional lemon wedges and parsley, if desired.
