Description

Indulge in the bold and flavorful Crispy Chilli Beef – a quick and easy 30-minute dinner that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Tender beef is seared to crispy perfection and tossed in a savory chili sauce, making it a family-friendly meal the whole household will love.

Ingredients

– 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

– 2 tbsp soy sauce

– 1 tbsp rice vinegar

– 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce

– 1 tbsp brown sugar

– 1 tsp sesame oil

– 2 tbsp vegetable oil

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 inch ginger, grated

– 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

– 4 green onions, sliced

– Cooked white rice, for serving

Instructions

1. – In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, and brown sugar. Toss to coat and let marinate for 15 minutes.

2. – Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and caramelized.

3. – Push the beef to the side of the pan and add the garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. – Add the sliced bell pepper and green onions. Toss everything together and cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

5. – Serve the Crispy Chilli Beef immediately over cooked white rice. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. You can also substitute the flank steak with other beef cuts like sirloin or ribeye. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
