Description
Buttery, crispy flatbread topped with melted creamy brie and fresh herbs – the ultimate easy appetizer that’s ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
– 1 package flatbread or naan
– 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
– 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
– 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
– 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. – Place the flatbread on a baking sheet. Brush the top with the melted butter.
3. – Arrange the brie slices evenly over the top of the flatbread.
4. – Sprinkle the fresh thyme leaves over the brie.
5. – Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the brie is melted and the edges are crispy.
6. – Drizzle with honey just before serving, if desired.
7. – Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
– For an extra crispy crust, you can broil the flatbread for 1-2 minutes after baking.
– Try different herb combinations, like rosemary or oregano, to switch up the flavor.
– This appetizer also works great on a cheese board.
