Description

These effortless Crockpot Mashed Potatoes are a comforting, creamy side dish that comes together with minimal hands-on time. Just add the ingredients to your slow cooker and let it do the work for you!

Ingredients

– 3 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes

– 1 cup milk

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. – Add the cubed potatoes to a 6-quart slow cooker.

2. – Pour the milk over the potatoes and add the cubed butter, salt, and pepper.

3. – Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the potatoes are very tender.

4. – Use a potato masher or hand mixer to mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.

5. – Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

6. – Serve hot, garnished with additional butter, chopped parsley, or other desired toppings.

Notes

– For thicker, chunkier mashed potatoes, use a potato ricer instead of mashing.

– Try adding grated cheddar cheese, sour cream, or chopped chives for extra flavor.

– Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
