Description

Indulge in the cozy, comforting flavors of this easy-to-make Pumpkin Bread. Perfectly moist, subtly spiced, and ready in just 5 minutes, this quick bread is a delightful treat for any time of day.

Ingredients

– 1 cup (240 ml) canned pumpkin puree

– 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted

– 1 3/4 cups (210 g) all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

– 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. – In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, and melted butter until well combined.

3. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.

4. – Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

5. – Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

6. – Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7. – Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

– For a crunchier top, sprinkle the batter with coarse sugar before baking.

– Try adding chopped walnuts or pecans for extra texture and flavor.

– Store the cooled bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
