Description

Indulge in the ultimate seafood sensation with this Fried Shrimp Burger recipe! Tender, juicy shrimp are coated in a crispy breading and sandwiched between a soft, toasted bun for a mouthwatering taste of the coast.

Ingredients

– 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 2 eggs, beaten

– 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 4 soft burger buns, toasted

– Lettuce, tomato, and your favorite burger toppings (optional)

Instructions

1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

2. In a separate shallow bowl, beat the eggs.

3. In a third shallow bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.

4. Dredge the shrimp in the flour mixture, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.

5. In a large skillet, heat 1/2 inch of oil over medium-high heat.

6. Fry the breaded shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

7. Drain the fried shrimp on a paper towel-lined plate.

8. Assemble the Fried Shrimp Burgers by placing the fried shrimp on the toasted buns and adding your desired toppings.

Notes

For a flavor twist, you can add a dash of cayenne pepper or Old Bay seasoning to the breading. The fried shrimp can also be enjoyed on their own as an appetizer.
