Description

These Frozen Blue Margarita Jello Shots are a delightfully tart and refreshing cocktail-inspired treat that’s perfect for parties, picnics, and poolside sipping. With just a few simple ingredients and a quick 30-minute prep time, you can whip up a batch of these frosty and fabulous jello shots for a fun and flavorful dessert or appetizer.

Ingredients

– 1 cup tequila

– 1/2 cup blue curacao

– 1/2 cup fresh lime juice

– 2 packets unflavored gelatin

– 1 cup water

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, combine the tequila, blue curacao, and lime juice. Sprinkle the gelatin over the top and let stand for 5 minutes to bloom.

2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk constantly until the gelatin has dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.

3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the 1 cup of water until well combined.

4. Carefully pour the jello mixture into silicone molds or a baking dish and refrigerate until set, about 4 hours or overnight.

5. Once set, remove the jello shots from the molds or slice into squares if using a baking dish.

6. Serve the Frozen Blue Margarita Jello Shots chilled, garnished with a lime slice or mint sprig if desired.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality tequila and blue curacao. You can also experiment with different mold shapes or sizes to customize the jello shots. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
