Ingredients
– 1 large sourdough boule
– 8 oz brie cheese, cut into slices
– 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tbsp fresh chopped herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, parsley)
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. – Cut the sourdough boule in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom piece.
3. – In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, chopped herbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
4. – Spread the garlic herb mixture evenly over the cut sides of the sourdough.
5. – Arrange the brie slices in an even layer on the bottom half of the sourdough.
6. – Sprinkle the fresh cranberries over the brie.
7. – Place the top half of the sourdough back on and wrap the entire loaf tightly in foil.
8. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the brie is melted and the bread is heated through.
9. – Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to lightly toast the top.
10. – Slice and serve warm, drizzled with honey if desired.
