Description

Prepare to be captivated by the bold, savory flavors of this Garlic Miso Chicken. This easy, 30-minute recipe delivers a mouthwatering dinner that’s perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

– 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 2 tablespoons miso paste

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

– 1 tablespoon honey

– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

– 1/4 cup water

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey.

2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.

4. Pour the miso mixture into the skillet and add the water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning the chicken occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

5. Serve the Garlic Miso Chicken immediately, spooning the flavorful sauce over the top.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a teaspoon of chili garlic sauce to the miso mixture. The chicken can also be marinated in the miso mixture for 30 minutes to an hour before cooking for even more intense flavor.
