Description

Indulge in the comforting flavors of this delectable German Spaghetti dish. Featuring a savory ground beef and tomato sauce tossed with perfectly cooked spaghetti, it’s a quick and easy meal that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

– 1 pound ground beef

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes

– 2 tablespoons tomato paste

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1 teaspoon dried basil

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 8 ounces spaghetti noodles

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the onion is translucent.

3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer the sauce for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

4. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti noodles according to the package instructions until al dente.

5. Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine.

6. Serve the German Spaghetti hot, garnished with the grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For a heartier meal, you can add sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers to the sauce. The dish can also be served with a side salad or garlic bread.
