Description

Enjoy a delicious and healthy Gluten Free Green Bean Casserole that’s ready in just 30 minutes! This easy recipe is a perfect weeknight dinner or holiday side dish.

Ingredients

– 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

– 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (gluten-free)

– 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or dairy-free cheese)

– 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs or crispy fried onions

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the trimmed and cut green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1/4 cup of the shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

3. 3. Transfer the green bean mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish.

4. 4. Top the casserole with the remaining 1/4 cup of shredded cheese and the gluten-free breadcrumbs or crispy fried onions.

5. 5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the green beans are tender and the topping is golden brown.

6. 6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

– For a crunchier topping, broil the casserole for 2-3 minutes after baking.

– You can use frozen green beans instead of fresh, just adjust the baking time as needed.

– Customize the cheese or add other vegetables like mushrooms or onions to suit your preferences.
