Description

Elevate your backyard barbecue with these juicy and flavorful grilled beer brats. Infused with the rich taste of beer and seasoned to perfection, these brats are a crowd-pleasing summer favorite.

Ingredients

– 8 bratwurst sausages

– 1 cup beer

– 1 onion, sliced

– 2 tablespoons butter

– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon paprika

– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– 8 buns or rolls

Instructions

1. – Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

2. – In a large skillet, combine the bratwurst, beer, and sliced onion. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, turning the brats occasionally, until partially cooked.

3. – Remove the brats from the skillet and place them directly on the preheated grill. Grill for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred and cooked through.

4. – In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

5. – Serve the grilled beer brats on buns or rolls, and drizzle the mustard sauce over the top. Enjoy with your favorite toppings, such as sauerkraut, relish, or additional mustard.

Notes

– For extra flavor, you can simmer the brats in the beer and onions for up to 30 minutes before grilling.

– Experiment with different types of beer to find your perfect flavor profile.

– Grilled onions or peppers also make a delicious topping for these brats.
