Description

Spicy and flavorful jalapeño deviled eggs are a delicious twist on the classic appetizer. The zesty kick of the jalapeño pairs perfectly with the creamy yolk filling, making these a crowd-pleasing treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 12 hard-boiled eggs

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 2 tablespoons minced jalapeño

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. – Carefully slice the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and transfer the yolks to a mixing bowl.

2. – Add the mayonnaise, mustard, minced jalapeño, paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the yolks. Mash and mix until smooth and creamy.

3. – Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

4. – Garnish the deviled eggs with additional diced jalapeño and a light dusting of paprika.

5. – Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

– For a milder flavor, use less jalapeño or substitute with diced bell pepper.

– Store any leftover deviled eggs in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
