Description

These Jalapeño Popper Crescent Rolls are a mouthwatering appetizer that combines the creamy, spicy goodness of jalapeño poppers with the buttery, flaky texture of crescent rolls. They’re the perfect party food or game day snack!

Ingredients

– 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough

– 4 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 2 tablespoons diced jalapeños (fresh or canned)

– 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños until well combined.

4. Place a heaping tablespoon of the jalapeño popper filling onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.

5. Roll the dough up tightly, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point.

6. Place the filled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

7. Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter.

8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.

9. Serve the Jalapeño Popper Crescent Rolls warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier filling, you can add an extra tablespoon of diced jalapeños. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties, such as pepper jack or Monterey Jack. These rolls are best served fresh, but they can be kept in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
