Description
Indulge in these sweet and creamy Nutella & Banana Sushi Rolls – a fun and flavorful twist on classic sushi that makes for a delightful snack or dessert.
Ingredients
– 1 cup sushi rice, cooked and cooled
– 4 sheets nori (seaweed sheets)
– 1/2 cup Nutella (or other hazelnut spread)
– 2 ripe bananas, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
Instructions
1. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions. Allow to cool completely.
2. Lay a nori sheet shiny-side down on a clean, dry surface. Spread about 1/4 cup of the cooled sushi rice in a thin layer across the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
3. Spread 2-3 tablespoons of Nutella in a line down the center of the rice.
4. Arrange banana slices in a single row on top of the Nutella.
5. Starting from the bottom, tightly roll the nori and filling into a cylinder, using the 1-inch border to seal the roll.
6. Repeat with the remaining nori sheets, rice, Nutella, and banana to make 4 sushi rolls.
7. Using a sharp knife, slice each roll into 6-8 pieces.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use very ripe, sweet bananas. You can also try adding a sprinkle of toasted coconut or chopped nuts on top.
