Description

Paula Deen’s Corn Casserole is a classic, creamy, and comforting side dish that’s perfect for any occasion. This easy-to-make casserole is packed with sweet corn, sour cream, and a buttery cracker topping that will have your family and guests coming back for seconds.

Ingredients

– 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained

– 1 (15 oz) can cream-style corn

– 1 cup sour cream

– 1/2 cup butter, melted

– 1 egg, beaten

– 1 cup crushed butter crackers (such as Ritz)

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the whole kernel corn, cream-style corn, sour cream, melted butter, and beaten egg. Mix well.

3. 3. Pour the corn mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.

4. 4. Top the casserole with the crushed butter crackers and shredded cheddar cheese.

5. 5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.

6. 6. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a creamier texture, you can use 1 1/2 cups of sour cream. To make ahead, assemble the casserole and refrigerate until ready to bake. You can also freeze the unbaked casserole for up to 3 months.
