Peanut Butter Blossoms are a classic holiday cookie that’s quick and easy to make. These soft, chewy cookies are filled with a creamy peanut butter base and topped with a glistening Hershey’s Kiss for the perfect sweet and salty treat.
Ingredients
– 1 cup creamy peanut butter
– 1 cup packed brown sugar
– 1 egg
– 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 24 Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. – In a medium bowl, cream together the peanut butter and brown sugar until well combined.
3. – Beat in the egg until fully incorporated.
4. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
6. – Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough and place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
7. – Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
8. – Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
9. – Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a festive twist, use different flavor Hershey’s Kisses, like peppermint or caramel. You can also add chopped nuts or sprinkle with coarse sugar before baking.
