Description

Indulge in the perfect balance of sweet pears, crunchy pecans, and rich caramel in this irresistible Pear, Pecan & Caramel Crumble. This easy-to-make dessert is the ultimate cozy treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 4 medium pears, peeled, cored, and sliced

– 1 cup chopped pecans

– 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup rolled oats

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed

– 1/4 cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. – In a large bowl, combine the sliced pears, 1/4 cup of the caramel sauce, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss to coat the pears evenly.

3. – In a separate bowl, mix together the pecans, brown sugar, flour, and rolled oats. Cut in the cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4. – Spread the pear mixture in a 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the pecan crumble topping evenly over the pears.

5. – Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the pears are tender.

6. – Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Drizzle additional caramel sauce over the top before serving.

Notes

This crumble can be served warm or at room temperature. It’s delicious on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For a twist, try using different types of fruit, such as apples or mixed berries, in place of the pears.
