Description

Philly Cheesesteak Bowls are a delicious and easy-to-make weeknight dinner that’s loaded with all the flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak in a convenient bowl.

Ingredients

– 1 lb thinly sliced beef sirloin

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 large green bell pepper, sliced

– 1 large onion, sliced

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tsp dried oregano

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– 8 oz provolone cheese, shredded

Instructions

1. – Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2. – Add the sliced bell pepper and onion and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until tender.

3. – Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute more, until fragrant.

4. – Add the sliced beef and season with oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the beef is cooked through.

5. – Remove from heat and stir in the shredded provolone cheese until melted and well combined.

6. – Divide the Philly cheesesteak mixture evenly into bowls and serve immediately.

Notes

– For a richer flavor, use a mixture of provolone and cheddar cheese.

– Customize the veggies by using a mix of bell peppers and mushrooms.

– Serve over rice or with crusty bread for a more substantial meal.
