Description

Indulge in these flavorful Pork and Chive Potstickers (Crispy Skirt) – a delightful Asian-inspired appetizer that’s easy to make and sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients

– 1 pound ground pork

– 1 cup finely chopped chives

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

– 1 teaspoon sesame oil

– 1 teaspoon grated ginger

– 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

– 1 package round wonton wrappers

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, chives, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and white pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.

2. Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Scoop about 1-2 tablespoons of the pork mixture into the center of the wrapper.

3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold the wrapper in half, creating a half-moon shape. Firmly press the edges to seal.

4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, add the potstickers to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the bottoms are golden brown and crispy.

5. Serve the pork and chive potstickers hot, with your favorite dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can pan-fry the potstickers first, then add a splash of water to the pan, cover, and steam for an additional 2-3 minutes.
