– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

3. 3. Arrange the apple slices in a overlapping pattern on each pastry strip, leaving a small gap at the top.
4. 4. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over the apples.
5. 5. Carefully roll up the pastry strip, starting from the bottom, to form a rose shape.
6. 6. Place the rose-shaped tarts in the prepared muffin tin.
7. 7. Brush the tops of the tarts with the melted butter.
8. 8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are caramelized.
9. 9. Allow the tarts to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a crisper crust, you can also bake the tarts on a parchment-lined baking sheet instead of in a muffin tin. Serve the Puff Pastry Apple Roses Tarts warm or at room temperature, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dusting of powdered sugar for an extra special touch.
