Ingredients

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 egg

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 2 cups fresh raspberries

– 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting


Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.

2. – In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

3. – Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

4. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

5. – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.

6. – Press half of the dough into the prepared baking pan.

7. – Spread the fresh raspberries evenly over the dough.

8. – Crumble the remaining dough over the top of the raspberries.

9. – Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.

10. – Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.

11. – Dust the bars with powdered sugar before serving.
