Ingredients

– 2 cups long-grain white rice

– 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded

– 1 onion, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 cup vegetable broth

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

– Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

2. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Add the shredded cabbage and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until the cabbage is slightly wilted.

5. Pour in the vegetable broth and heavy cream. Stir in the paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.

6. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add the uncooked rice. Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the sauce has thickened.
