Ingredients
– 2 cups whole milk
– 4 teaspoons black tea leaves
– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Instructions
1. In a small saucepan, bring the milk to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
2. Once the milk is steaming and starting to bubble around the edges, remove from heat and stir in the black tea leaves.
3. Cover the saucepan and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, or until the desired strength is reached.
4. Strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the leaves.
5. Return the strained tea to the saucepan and stir in the granulated sugar until dissolved.
6. Pour the Royal Milk Tea into mugs and enjoy immediately, while hot and creamy.
Notes
