Description

Slow Cooker Marry Me Chicken is a creamy, flavor-packed dish that’s sure to impress your guests. Tender chicken thighs are simmered in a rich, velvety sauce made with cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, and garlic, resulting in a comforting and irresistible meal.

Ingredients

– 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs

– 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 teaspoon dried parsley

– 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

– 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

– 1/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions

1. Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, garlic, parsley, oregano, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.

3. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker and add the chicken broth.

4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

5. Serve the Slow Cooker Marry Me Chicken over cooked rice or pasta, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, you can remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the sauce to thicken. Leftover chicken can be shredded and used in other recipes, such as chicken salad or chicken enchiladas.
