Description

Indulge in the irresistible combination of savory spaghetti and buttery garlic bread bowls. This 30-minute meal is perfect for busy weeknights, family dinners, and entertaining.

Ingredients

– 1 lb spaghetti

– 4 garlic cloves, minced

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving

– 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

– Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. – Preheat the oven to 400°F. Cut the tops off 4 round sourdough or Italian bread loaves and hollow out the centers, leaving a 1-inch thick shell.

3. – In a bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the inside of the bread bowls with the garlic butter.

4. – Place the bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is lightly toasted.

5. – In a large bowl, toss the cooked spaghetti with the Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. – Spoon the spaghetti mixture into the toasted bread bowls. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For a heartier meal, you can add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage to the spaghetti. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
