Spicy Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Tots are a flavor-packed, crispy appetizer that’s perfect for game days, parties, or anytime you need a tasty snack. Jalapeño peppers are stuffed with a cheesy breadcrumb mixture, then wrapped in bacon and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
– 12 jalapeño peppers, halved and seeded
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– 12 slices bacon, halved
Instructions
1. – Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. – In a small bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
3. – Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
4. – Wrap a half slice of bacon around each stuffed jalapeño.
5. – Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
7. – Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a milder version, use bell peppers instead of jalapeños. You can also experiment with different cheese varieties or add diced onions or other herbs to the filling.
