Description
These Spiderweb Brownies are a must-try Halloween treat! With a rich, fudgy texture and a spooky spider web design on top, they’re sure to impress your guests and satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
– 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 2 cups granulated sugar
– 4 large eggs
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
– 1 cup white chocolate chips
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips.
3. 3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
4. 4. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the white chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
5. 5. Transfer the white chocolate mixture to a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe a spiral pattern starting from the center and working outward to create a spiderweb design.
6. 6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting and serving.
Notes
For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semisweet. You can also add a teaspoon of instant coffee powder to the batter. Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
