Description

Indulge in the rich, flaky perfection of these Spinach and Feta Puff Pastry Twists – a quick and easy 30-minute recipe that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

– 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

– 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

– 1 egg, beaten

– 1 tablespoon water

– Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. 2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and place it on a lightly floured surface. Roll it out slightly to smooth out any creases.

3. 3. In a small bowl, mix together the chopped spinach and crumbled feta cheese.

4. 4. Cut the puff pastry sheet in half lengthwise. Place the spinach and feta mixture down the center of each half.

5. 5. Fold the puff pastry over the filling, then twist the dough to create a spiral shape. Place the twisted pastries on the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down.

6. 6. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Brush the tops of the pastries with the egg wash.

7. 7. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown and flaky.

8. 8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
