Description

Indulge in the creamy, cheesy goodness of this Spinach Artichoke Dip Pull-Apart Christmas Bread! This easy-to-make holiday appetizer is perfect for sharing with friends and family.

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

– 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

– 1/4 cup mayonnaise

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3. In a separate bowl, combine the mozzarella, Parmesan, artichokes, and spinach.

4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, and black pepper until smooth.

5. Roll the dough out into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough, then top with the artichoke-spinach mixture.

6. Cut the dough into 12 equal squares. Stack the squares and place them vertically in the prepared baking dish.

7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

This pull-apart bread can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake. Simply add 5-10 minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
