Description

Juicy steak, colorful peppers, and onions come together in these easy-to-make Steak Fajita Skewers. Seasoned with a blend of zesty spices and grilled to perfection, this 30-minute meal is a surefire weeknight winner.

Ingredients

– 1 lb flank steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

– 2 bell peppers, sliced into 1-inch pieces

– 1 red onion, sliced into 1-inch pieces

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tbsp chili powder

– 1 tsp cumin

– 1 tsp paprika

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

– 2 limes, cut into wedges

– Chopped cilantro, for serving

Instructions

1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the steak, bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.

2. 2. Thread the steak and vegetables onto metal or wooden skewers, alternating the ingredients.

3. 3. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.

4. 4. Serve the Steak Fajita Skewers with lime wedges and chopped cilantro. Enjoy with warm tortillas, guacamole, and your other favorite fajita toppings.

Notes

For best results, marinate the steak in the spice mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour before assembling the skewers. You can also broil the skewers in the oven if you don’t have access to a grill.
